(Note: Text contained in images or media that search engines cannot crawl is excluded from standard scans.) Clients requiring specialized or deeper plagiarism checks beyond Copyscape may perform them independently.

Content Ownership & Copyright

Upon final delivery and full payment, all rights and ownership of the customized work are transferred to the client. Bedford Publishers does not require attribution or author credit. You retain full rights to publish, edit, and distribute the work under your name as desired.

Data Protection & Security

When you submit personal details or place an order, we employ industry-standard security practices including SSL encryption to safeguard your data. Following transaction processing, sensitive payment details (such as credit card numbers) are not stored on our permanent servers.

Use of Cookies

We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and visitor interactions to offer better browsing experiences. Authorized third-party tools assisting with website analytics are restricted from using collected data for any purpose other than helping analyze site performance.

Media & Graphic Usage

To respect intellectual property rights, we do not provide copyrighted stock imagery directly unless explicit licensing is purchased. We may suggest royalty-free image recommendations or direct links where you can license selected media for your publication.

Limitation of Liability

Bedford Publishers shall not be held liable for direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services or website. This includes any technical interruptions, delay in publication schedules, or third-party platform changes beyond our operational control.

Refund Policy & Revisions

We strive to meet all agreed project specifications documented during order setup. If a delivered draft requires changes, revisions will be provided in accordance with the scope outlined in your service package.

Refund Eligibility & Timeframe

• 14-Day Refund Window: All refund requests must be formally submitted within 14 calendar days of order delivery or project milestone completion. Requests submitted after 14 days are not eligible for refund.
• Pre-Production Cancellations: If you cancel an order prior to the commencement of work, a refund may be granted minus applicable payment processing fees.
• Incomplete Requirements / Incompetent Delivery: If a delivery significantly deviates from the mutually agreed order scope, our team will first offer project reassignment or revisions to fulfill specifications. If unresolved, a partial or full refund may be processed upon review by our compliance team.

Exceptions to Refunds

• Refunds are not granted due to minor technical or typographical corrections that can be resolved via standard revisions.
• Delays resulting from late client feedback, delayed manuscript approval, or missing project inputs are non-refundable.
• For marketing or distribution projects, refunds will not be issued if the client fails to provide necessary account access (e.g., KDP, platform credentials) needed to perform the contracted services.
